Medical Camp and Health education awareness drive at Singapore

Beyond Horizons Health and Social Circle (BHAAS) organized a one day free medical camp and health education program at Singapore, Velhe, Pune on 30th of October.'13. The health camp was organized with the objective of providing free medical examination/check-up and introducing concepts of menses, puberty and sanitation to the school students. Nearly 120 students and 40 adults attended the gathering.

The event started with a medical checkup. Our doctor team kindly volunteered.

               

  Dr. Poonam Patil and Dr. Akshaya Parvatikar extended their professional help in the camp by delivering health awareness presentations regarding menstrual health.
Dr. Vikas Chothe delivered a wonderful talk which touched upon the importance of  puberty changes in boys, sexual health and need for hygiene and cleansing.Dr.  Ruturaj Patil gave a talk on addiction among teenagers and their health hazards.                

Dr. Vikas gave an overview on important health tips to villagers and students for better health.

               

Our friends from Aanandyatri group, who gave tremendous field support were the backbone of the said camp. Their energy and team spirit really helped in making the health camp a success.
